We unboxed the LEGO Roses Bouquet 10328 ahead of the peak Valentine’s Day ordering season. These LEGO roses were released on January 1, 2024.
In our opinion it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day gift as it’s been made to build as a couple. Sure you can do it yourself and gift it to your lover but by the end of the eight hundred and twenty two pieces you are going to be pretty exhausted. Halving its bearable but it’s still a pretty decent effort and there’s a lot of repetition. We’d recommend allowing a hour or so, sipping on a wine and building it at a table. Doing it on the floor had advantages but after an hour or so the body becomes a little stiff.
There are six bags in this LEGO Roses set:
- Bag 1 & 2 - the 4 x budding flowers,
- Bag 3 & 4 - 4 x blossoming blooms, and
- Bags 5 & 6 - 4 x sprigs of baby’s breath and 4 of the majestic roses in full bloom.
Instructions we’re mostly clear, well laid out. Each partner receives there back and goes about building their 4 or so stems. Having a single book for each set keeps the couple’s focus aligned and avoids the other powering ahead. My advice is to fall back to building stems when the other partner is lagging behind or enjoy your beverage.
The stems themselves are a little repetitious and the stems of the baby’s breath need to be build correctly aligned. It’s fantastic to watch the rose flowers come to life and recognize the subtle differences as you work through each set.
Ideally you will want to have a vase on hand to display your LEGO creation.
All in all it was an enjoyable set to build. The LEGO Roses Bouquet looks realistic from a distance. We’d recommend keeping them at a distance from young children too.
